WHAT TO EXPECT ::
JAZZ class will begin with a structured, energetic warm up that will start with classical jazz isolations end evolve to a full bodied exploration of strength and flexibility.

Warm up will be followed by traditional jazz progressions that practice musicality and technique.

Class will conclude with a stylized combination that may include classical elements, commercial style jazz, or a fusion of funk and hip-hop

CONTEMPORARY Class begins with a full bodied, dynamic warm up and will transition into structured improvisational exercises that will encourage dancers to remain curious about the possibilities of movement in their own bodies without judgement or comparison.

The bulk of class will focus on learning choreography in an effort to examine movement invention and a multitude of textures and dynamic qualities. Jackie’s contemporary choreography combines athleticism and grace, in a dynamic fusion of genres.
