STAYCEE PEARL dance project's (SPdp) PhraseWorks is a mixed-genre dance class starting with emphasis on body/mind connection and awareness, efficient anatomical connections, and appropriate use of traditional technical forms. Emphasis is placed on creating space and mobility in the joints with the outcome of effortless length and strength in the body, allowing for expansive risk taking through space. We then learn phrases developed for specific SPdp projects. This weeks class will feature phrases from our most recent work, ABBEY: In The Red.

Dance EXposure, presented by ArtsQuest and the Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange (LVDE), serves up a cornucopia of exciting, engaging and captivating dance works by the region’s most talented choreographers and dance companies.
Dance EXposure is a curated, bi-annual showcase that provides a setting for established and emerging dance artists to present their work in a supportive, creative environment and, in so doing, gain “exposure” for their choreography and broaden their community reach. Selected artists receive performance space, technical assistance and publicity to expand their audience and network with other artists, potential funders and dance enthusiasts.
We invite you to come enjoy a drink and an evening full of rich dance entertainment in a wide variety of movement disciplines that offer something for everyone.

The Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange (LVDE), in partnership with Performing Arts at Cedar Crest College, is hosting the 6th annual SpringUP Dance Festival April 7 & 8, 2018.
Join us at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. This year’s festival boasts a faculty lineup of exciting and highly talented professional choreographers, teachers and dancers with impressive national and international resumés.
